About the International Day for Bids & Proposals
IDBP was launched in 2023 to establish an inclusive and globally celebrated day for the bid and proposal profession.
We figured so many other things have their own ‘Special Day’, why not bids and proposals?
Our aim is for the day to become adopted by bid and proposal professionals around the world and for it to become something meaningful to them.
We look forward to hearing stories and seeing photographs from people doing something to celebrate the day wherever they are. Our mission is for at least one person in every time zone around the world to get onboard with it!

Take a bow
Let’s be honest, bids and proposals is hard work. It’s high-pressure. It’s fast-paced. One bid finishes, another starts.
There's rarely time to pause, let alone celebrate. This day gives us an opportunity to breathe and reflect and to reconnect with why we do what we do and to be proud of it.
